New recording and tour recap & preview

After what feels like several months on the road ... oh wait it HAS been several months ... I'm back in studio for the next couple weeks recording a brand new album with Jim Bryson!   This week we tracked guitars and all things stringed with the fabulous musical mad genius Kevin Breit.    The new record won't be released till January 2020, but I'm sooooooo excited about these new songs and can't wait for you to hear them.

Prior to stepping back into the studio, I spent January fighting winter snowstorms in the NE US, and then touring through a SERIOUS deep freeze in the Northern Prairies.   Toss in a weekend at Folk Alliance International in Montreal and a week recording bed tracks for the new record in Kingston at North of Princess, and I was ready for a break from the Tundra.  Spent almost 6 weeks tour with the LYNNeS across Texas, New Mexico, Oklahoma, British Columbia and Alberta.  Was nice not to have to wear winter boots AND smell the flowers.    If you want to get a photo recap of my time on the road you can click on over to my Instagram account where I kept a daily "photo diary" of my adventures.

This week I'll be back in studio this week tracking some guitars, vocals and other sonic wonders before heading BACK out to Alberta to play four shows with various configurations of my Good Intention(s).  All the details can be had over on the Shows page.   Hope to see you out there!!
