I got home very late Friday night from an epic journey camping across this beautiful country of ours 🇨🇦 We drove from Ottawa to Calgary, then down to Montana to play a songwriting festival, and then all the way back across Canada again.
As I start a new week this morning I am feeling especially grateful. I’ve just gotten the news that I have received a Canada Council for the Arts | Conseil des arts du Canada Artistic Creation grant to support the making of my new album, Little Things.
It's a highly competitive granting program, which makes this support all the more meaningful. My heartfelt thanks to the jurors for believing in this project and choosing to support my work alongside so many deserving artists across the country.
Creating music takes a village, and support like this helps make it possible to bring these songs to life and get them out into the world. I'm deeply thankful and excited to continue working on Little Things and to share it with you when it's ready ❤
